Terms of service

1. Who we are
Ghriba is a trade name of Just Hob, a sole proprietorship based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 98481878. VAT number NL005332945B41. Email: hello@ghriba.com.

2. When these terms apply
These terms apply to every order placed on www.ghriba.com. By placing an order you accept them. We may change these terms at any time; the version in force when you order applies to that order.

3. Products and prices
All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are added at checkout. Product photos and descriptions are as accurate as we can make them, but colour, surface and scent strength can vary slightly from candle to candle. Obvious mistakes in prices or descriptions do not bind us.

4. Your order
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm it by email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when a candle is sold out, when a price was clearly wrong, or when we suspect fraud or abuse. In that case we refund anything you have paid.

5. Payment and ownership
You pay in full at checkout. The products remain our property until we have received full payment.

6. Delivery
We deliver to the Netherlands and the rest of the European Union. Delivery times are indicative and a delay does not entitle you to compensation. We deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest; if we do not, you may cancel for a full refund. You are responsible for a correct delivery address. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to you or to someone you name. See our Shipping policy.

7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. The conditions, including that you pay the return cost and are liable for loss in value, are set out in our Refund policy.

8. Faults
If a product is faulty you have the rights given by Dutch and EU consumer law. Tell us promptly after you discover the fault, with a photo and your order number. Damage caused by misuse, by not following the care and safety instructions, or by normal wear is not a fault.

9. Safe use and liability
A candle is an open flame. You use it at your own risk and must follow the care and safety instructions on the product page and the label. Never leave a burning candle unattended. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, and our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, strikes, supplier failure or extreme weather. If such an event lasts more than 30 days, either of us may cancel the order and we refund what you paid.

11. Intellectual property
All texts, images, designs, names and logos on this website belong to Just Hob or its licensors. You may not copy or use them without our written permission.

12. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy policy.

13. Complaints
Write to hello@ghriba.com within a reasonable time after you discover the problem. We reply within 14 days.

14. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory law gives you the right to choose another court. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
